About Sinus Congestion

Sinus congestion is one of the most common and troublesome complaints associated with colds, sinusitis, and/or allergies. Pseudoephedrine is widely used in cough and colds products to relieve sinus congestion. It shrinks swollen membranes with the nasal passages and reduces nasal congestion improving the ability to breathe.

However, some cough and cold products can dry you out. Guaifenesin can be added to pseudoephedrine to thin sinus and nasal secretions, improve drainage and lubricate irritated respiratory tract membranes.

The combined effect of pseudoephedrine and guaifenesin helps to improve the relief of sinus congestion by proving non-drying, non-drowsy relief. Also, pseudoephedrine and guaifenesin do not cause drowsiness.

ENTEX® LA:

ENTEX® LA (pseudoephedrine 120 mg/guaifenesin 600 mg) is the only sinus decongestant combination that contains pseudoephedrine and guaifenesin in a long-acting oral tablet.

It provides 12 hours of non-drying, non-drowsy relief of sinus congestion due to colds, sinusitis, and/or allergies.
