MANAGER OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

 

 

Reporting to the Group Manager, MRDs, the primary objective of this position is to enhance the company’s overall sales growth and profitability. This will be achieved by establishing strong business relationships with key physicians and pain clinics in the region through program implementation of value-added programs and various partnership opportunities. You will identify major business opportunities and work with our internal Marketing and Scientific departments to develop value-added programs that will increase the company’s business.

Qualifications required for this position include a university degree with a focus on Science and/or business, as well as a minimum of three years direct selling experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. You have the ability to understand pharmacologic and therapeutic principles of disease management. Furthermore the ideal candidate will possess a high level of business acumen and tenacity, effective selling, presentation and communication skills and a thorough working knowledge of MS Office applications.

TERRITORY SALES MANAGER 

 

Reporting to the Provincial Business Manager you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives to enhance revenues. You have an established track record of achieving sales results. Your proven analytical and business planning skills are required to analyze market data and to develop the necessary action plans to increase sales results within the territory. Your primary role will be to interact with physicians, providing product-related information, which will allow these physicians to make informed decisions on where and when to use our products. In addition, you have demonstrated sound problem solving skills to effectively handle customer objections and questions. A positive team environment is important to you and has been a proven key to your success. Planning and executing Continuing Health Education events round out this challenging position.

Qualifications required for this position include a university degree in science or business, preferably with direct selling experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess effective oral and written communication skills and a thorough working knowledge of MS Office applications.

TERRITORY  SALES MANAGER – SPECIALTY PRODUCTS

 

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve call/contact and targeting objectives to enhance business growth
  • Motivate physicians to effectively incorporate the company’s products into their medical practice
  • Manage territory activities on a cost-effective basis
  • Plan sales presentations with appropriate product messages and frequency to assist physicians in improving their patients’ health outcomes
  • Coordinate CME, medical rounds and in-service activities
  • Analyze sales/market data and develop action plans to improve productivity and achieve targeted sales results
  • Respond to customer complaints and objections, and take actions required to resolve problems

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree with a major in Science or Business
  • Direct pharmaceutical industry sales experience is a definite asset
  • Effective selling, presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
